About

Hi, I am filmmaker, and creator, CEO of an AI-driven app, Mumkin.

I co-founded Mumkin, a social entrepreneurship, to build technology for survivors of gender-based violence and those who face discrimination based on their gender and sexuality.

I am also a co-founder of an international non-profit, Sahiyo, working to build dialogue, education and awareness on Female Genital Cutting (FGC) in India and other parts of the world, along with four other co-founders.

My documentary ‘A Pinch of Skin’ is the recipient of the 60th National Film Award of India. and has screened worldwide. I perceive my work as conversations and believe in the power of media, advocacy, and storytelling to initiate dialogue, the first and most important step for change.
